Licensed therapists provide a stable connection, a caring relationship, and support links to those experiencing emotional difficulties. Our counselors represent several areas of expertise, allowing us to address a wide range of needs including depression, anxiety, identity crisis, abuse, life transitions, stress, and loss. Patients are connected to a counselor that suits their unique needs and provides support in identifying goals for a healthier future and a variety of coping skills for reaching those goals. Patients complete satisfaction surveys throughout their time within HFHC's Mental Health program to ensure the highest quality of care.
Mental Health services have been shown to be one of the highest needs in our community. Mental health conditions impact approximately 1 in 4 people, meaning that in any given year, 44 million Americans will be affected by mental illness. Counseling provides a person with help to sort out the stresses and struggles, and provides tools for the person to gain a healthier perspective of the future.
