Holland Free Health Clinic serves uninsured and underinsured adults in Ottawa and Allegan County. We are here for community members who may not otherwise have access to affordable care, including those who are working but don't have insurance, those between jobs, or those who don't qualify for other programs. No one is turned away based on ability to pay.

We serve adults only. If you are looking for care for a child, we are happy to help connect you with community resources that serve pediatric patients.
All services are provided free of charge. We are funded through community donations, grants, and the generous support of volunteers. There are no bills, co-pays, or surprise charges.
No. HFHC is specifically designed for people without insurance or with coverage that doesn't fully meet their needs. You do not need an insurance card or proof of coverage.
Call us or fill out our New Patient Form online. We'll ask a few basic questions to confirm eligibility and get you set up. If you're unsure whether you qualify, please reach out anyway. We're happy to help.
Existing patients are reassessed every 4 years to confirm continued eligibility. If you have any questions about your patient status, just give us a call.
No. HFHC is not an emergency clinic, urgent care, or walk-in facility. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Our services are provided by appointment through a waitlist system.
No. We are not able to provide emergency dental care. Our dental services are offered by appointment through a waitlist for established patients only. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call 911 if it is life-threatening, or visit 211.org or dial 2-1-1 to find emergency dental resources in your area.
No. HFHC does not have physicians on staff and we are not a primary care clinic. We do not offer routine physicals, ongoing medical management, or urgent care. All of our services are provided by volunteer healthcare providers who generously donate their time. If you need primary care, we can help connect you with community resources and low-cost clinics in the Holland area.
Our programs include dental care, foot care, vision care, hearing care, chiropractic care, diabetic resources and supplies, as well as connections to prescription assistance and community referrals. All services are provided by volunteer healthcare providers. We are not a primary care clinic and do not have physicians on staff.
We do not have prescribing providers on staff. However, we can connect patients with prescription assistance programs to help obtain medications at low or no cost. Let our team know if affording medications is a barrier.
No. We do not offer lab testing, STD testing, or diagnostic services. If you need those services, we can refer you to other community health resources in the Holland area.
