Hearing care is an often neglected area of health care, especially for those who live on a low income. Poor hearing affects social, mental, and spiritual well-being, and can even lead to Alzheimer’s disease.
Through partnerships with local audiology providers, patients are provided, at no cost, a hearing exam and audiology report. If hearing aids are needed, patients may either receive free gently used and refurbished hearing aids, or connect with the Starkey Foundation Hear Now Program and receive new hearing aids for a minimal cost.
